My name is Nick Walters and I am the consultant for Northwest Territory in the Twin Cities, including Plymouth, Maple Grove, Wayzata, and Golden Valley. I have a BS in Turf Management from the University of MN Crookston. I have worked at golf courses since 2007 from California to Connecticut! I started with Rainbow Lawncare in 2019.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my fiancé and golden retriever. I like to golf, work out and coach Crossfit, and as a native Minnesotan stay active outside.

I appreciate the customer service and the high level of knowledge that comes from the staff. I went with other commercial groups where the customer service was horrible. This group listen to my needs and now that Spring is coming, it is clear they heard me and are doing exactly what we talked about in the fall. I've been using Rainbow Lawncare for a few years now, and I highly recommend them. They are always professional and responsive, and my yard looks great. I switched to Rainbow because the previous provider was constantly trying to upsell services to me and was frequently calling. Rainbow does not do this. Also, Rainbow is employee owned and a local Minnesota company. We also use Rainbow Tree Care and they are fantastic.

About five years ago, I was raking my front lawn for the first time that Spring. The grass just came out in clumps. The ground went bare. I contacted Rainbow Lawn, and one of their specialists (Ryan) came out. The verdict was that grub worms had infested the lawn. So, I signed up for Rainbow’s program to treat the grub issue and regular maintenance of the entire lawn. My backyard is very shady; and, at that time, there were bare spots and weeds – violets, dandelions, etc. So, I ordered split-seeding for my first two years. Also, a neighborhood elm tree showered us with seeds every year and they sprouted by August through both the front and back areas.All I can say is that all these lawn problems are a thing of the past. I believe that I have had the greenest and fullest lawn in the neighborhood from the very beginning of my work with Rainbow.Bill Bailey -- Richfield

I can't stress how good a company this is. Every single employee we worked with (from the admin staff, assessors, and to the installers), were incredible! They were professional, informative, friendly, and helpful.During our initial search, we reached out to 3 other companies and this one came to the top. It was easy to set up a consult to discuss seeding a bee-friendly lawn. Tech very clearly explained the process, what would (and would not) be done. I was automatically scheduled and given notice prior to service. Didn't have to do anything (including being home) other than making sure the yard was reasonably clear. Bee lawn is coming in great, would use this company again.

This is one of the easiest vendor relationships I've had. Not only is the entire group professional and extremely responsive, they are so easy to work with! Even the website for setting up services and billing is so easy to use. Honestly, I wish all of the other vendors I use were as easy to hire, schedule, renew, pay, etc. Top notch services and you won't be disappointed!

Rainbow Lawncare did a wonderful job with our lawn. I love that they allow customers to choose how many treatments they would like. I prefer to keep chemicals to a minimum, so only request service when the weeds are absolutely out of control. So if I just want one or two treatments per year, that is fine. I just pay by the session. I did two treatments last year and my lawn looked great. Their techs are professional and do a fine job. Their email communication is quick and efficient. Highly recommended!
